The Zalman ZM80D-HP Noiseless VGA Cooler has been DISCONTINUED....Please see our other VGA Coolers for an updated selection.
Zalman has been making great computer products for some time now. The Zalman ZM80D-HP Noiseless VGA Cooler carries their tradition of excellent quality computer cooling products. This VGA cooler uses dual heatpipe technology to carry heat away from your VGA card. The dual heatpipes increase heat transfer speed and enhance the cooling efficiency. The fanless design ensures complete noiselessness (is that even a word?) and maintenance-free operation. RAM heatsinks are also provided for cooling the VGA RAM.
This VGA cooler is compatible with virtually all types of VGA cards allowing reinstallation when upgrading the VGA card. This cooler is incompatible with VGA cards that do not have original heatsink holes measuring 3mm in diameter, or VGA cards on which the ZM80D-HP interferes with the cards components. An Optional Fan (Zalman's ZM-OP1, sold separately) can be attached to the heatsink directly without using a separate bracket for even better cooling. If you are using a nVIDIA GeForce FX5800, an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, a Matrox Parhelia, or a more advanced model, the Optional Fan (Zalman's ZM-OP1, sold separately) must be installed.
Since this product weighs 350 g, always firmly fasten the VGA card onto the case with a screw. Special care should be taken while the computer is being moved. Neither Zalman nor Xoxide.com is responsible for any damage arising while moving the computer. After installing this product on a VGA card (Video Graphics Card), the PCI slot adjacent to the AGP slot will be unusable.
Your computer should be placed according to the following diagrams in order for the product to function properly. If it is set up in such a way that the video card's GPU faces upwards, then this product cannot be used. Also, if you attempt to adjust the positioning of the computer by flipping it in a reverse direction, the product will not function properly either, so you should place your computer case in its normal position.
