Product Description

The new Enermax NoiseTaker Silent Power Supply is one of the highest performance power supplies on the market. The power supply supports two individual 12V rails for your motherboard and drives. One supplies power soley to the motherboard, while the other powers the drives. This prevents over reactive drives from disrupting the power to the motherboard. Since this is a premium power supply, Enermax designed it to be compatible with 20 and 24-pin applications, PCI Express, and all of the latest P4 Prescott, Athlon 64/64FX, and next generation CPUs.

The power supply has an 80mm and a 90mm low RPM cooling fans. Having dual low RPM fans keeps the temperature low, but also is nearly silent because both fans are running at low speeds. These fans are designed to power down only after the power supply is sufficiently cooled, usually about 2 minutes after the system is powered down.

The Enermax NoiseTaker is well equipped with both manual and automatic fan controlling options. There are thermal sensors in the power supply to automatically control the fans to keep your power supply at the perfect temperature. There is also a fan speed control knob for the user to manually change the speed of the fans.

  • ATX 12V V2.0: Supports latest P4 Prescott and Athlon 64/64 FX processors based systems: P4 mainboards that use 875 (Canterwood) and 865 (Springdale) chipsets, and also fully supports power requirements for platforms using chipsets like Intel 925 (Alderwood) or 915 (Grantsdale) and next generation CPUs
  • Smart Fan: After PC shuts down, cooling fans keep running for at least 2 minutes to effectively cool down parts and hardware inside PSU and PC case. Thus, ensure longer product life time of power supply and hardware inside PC case.
  • Dual Fan: The best cooling method for PC systems, and is strongly suggested by AMD.
  • Separate 12V Rails: Independent 12V rails supply to MB/CPU, and drives in order to provide stable and clean current to noise-sensitive devices, such as: CPU, add-on cards, etc. Meets UL 240VA safety requirements, offering a safer operating circumstance to users.
  • SATA Power Connectors: Connect your system to the faster SATA interface for better performance.
  • Manual and Automatic Fan Speed Control: Manual fan speed control to allow you to balance between cooling and acoustic noise. Automatic fan speed control prevents system overheat.
