The Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro heat sink replaces the Freezer 7 in Arctic Cooling's LGA755 lineup. It was designed to replace the stock Pentium 4 heat sink and fan, being superior in every way. The Freezer 7 Pro is much quieter than the stock heat sink, measuring in at 0.9 Sone versus the stock cooler's 4.9 Sone (Arctic Cooling is a Swiss company, and they prefer to measure loudness (Sone) instead of intensity (dBA)). This is also a powerful cooler. The Freezer 7 Pro has six heat pipes and 4700 square centimeters of surface area, which allows it to dissipate up to 200 watts of heat. Due to the heatpipe technology, the Freezer 7 Pro also possesses great thermal transfer properties: its thermal resistance is only 0.17*C/W, compared to the stock heatsink's .23*C/W.
