The second version of mouse and keyboard operating USB Foot Switch. Optical instead of mechanical switch. Friction noise highly reduced with rubber. The USB Foot Switch 2 provides a 3 mm shorter key stroke allowing less force for switching. USB Foot Switch 2 is available in one, two or three-button and can be freely assigned by the operating software.
Improvements compared to first version:
- Noise reduction
Better noise behavior. The reasons for the noise in the first version were the mechanical switch, which was changed to an optical switch and a friction sound coming from the metal cover, which could be strongly reduced by attaching rubber. Altogether noise has been highly improved for the USB Foot Switch 2.
Shorter key stroke
Instead of an 8mm key stroke the new Foot Switch 2 has an shorter, 5mm key stroke. Therefore less pressure (power) is needed to handle the switch. Less fatiguing, especially in case of frequent, repeated use.
Included software provides the opportunity to bind all keys:
Left and right mouse click, double click, all keyboard keys as well as ctrl / alt shortcuts can be bound.
Functions Unable to Perform by this Product:
Mouse scroll, 4th or later button of mouse, Multimedia key functions, Keys not used by 101/102 English keyboard. Depending on your usage environment, some key features may not work (Example: F1 key alone cannot be appointed).
